Bangor Christian and Greenville are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2017, but likely not for long. The Patriots will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against the Lakers at 4:00 p.m. Bangor Christian will come into the match with an undefeated record on the line.

Bangor Christian had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 16-run drubbing they dealt Stearns on Monday. The Patriots never let the Minutemen get on the board and left with a 16-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won six games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Greenville's offense. They came up short against Richmond on Tuesday, falling 13-0. That's two games in a row now that the Lakers have lost by exactly 13 runs.

Bangor Christian's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Greenville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
