Hunter Harper put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Friday. He struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits (and not a single walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.

Harper's strong effort led Vancleave over Brookhaven and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
