Baseball Recap: Thoreau Gets the Win

Thoreau won the last time they faced Wingate and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Hawks walked away with a 10-7 victory over the Bears. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hawks.

Jordan Calladitto was incredible, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with six stolen bases and three runs. He has become a key player for Thoreau: the team is 5-2 when he posts at least two runs, but 0-12 otherwise.

Thoreau's record is now 5-14. As for Wingate, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.

Coming up, Thoreau will venture away from home to face off against Navajo Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hawks will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least ten runs in their last four matchups. Wingate does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
