West Albany had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.7 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They claimed a resounding 72-32 win over the Central Panthers. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while the Panthers are ranked 133rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

West Albany's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.8 points over those games. As for Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-14.

Coming up, West Albany will head out to challenge Dallas at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Crescent Valley at 7:00 p.m.
