            Baseball Recap: Alpena Wildcats vs. Gaylord Blue Devils        
        
		
        
        
            Alpena had lost three straight at home, but  on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 6-8 to make it four. They came up short against  the Gaylord Blue Devils, falling  10-3. Surprisingly, this marked the Wildcats' sixth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.
As for Gaylord,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 6-3. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
 For Gaylord's part,  Collin Piehl was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with two  stolen bases and two  runs.  Lucas Green was another key player,  going 3-for-5 with two  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  double.
 Coming up, Alpena will challenge St. Francis on Friday. As for Gaylord, they are taking a road trip to  take on Inland Lakes  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their  ninth straight  win, something the Blue Devils surely won't give up without a fight.
