Berry lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Vina, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Monday's contest. The Berry Wildcats never let the Vina Red Devils get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Monday. With that win, the Wildcats brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Max Westbrook, who scored two runs and stole Four bases. while going 2-for-3. Those runs were his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Shaun Waltrip, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

The victory got Berry back to even at 3-3. As for Vina, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Berry will square off against Pickens Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Berry is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season. As for Vina, they will host Belgreen at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
