Basketball Recap: Central Wise Warriors vs. Tri-Cities Christian Eagles
Central Wise had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 77-70 to the Tri-Cities Christian Eagles on Tuesday.
Tri-Cities Christian found their leader in sophomore Lofton Looney, who went 8 for 17 en route to 19 points plus six assists and two steals. Those six assists set a new season-high mark for Looney. Will Holmes was another key player, scoring 13 points.
The victory (which was Tri-Cities Christian's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.
Central Wise will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Graham at 7:00 p.m. on December 14th. Tri-Cities Christian has already played their next game, a 71-67 win against Heritage on the 29th.
