Softball Recap: Dinwiddie Comes Up Short

Dinwiddie lost against Atlee back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Generals fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 5-4.

Dinwiddie saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Dickenson, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Dinwiddie's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Atlee, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dinwiddie will square off against Thomas Dale at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Generals are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Atlee, they will face off against Patrick Henry at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
