Preview: Sherman Tide vs. Clay County Panthers
The Sherman Tide will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against the Clay County Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Sherman will be strutting in after a win while Clay County will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Tuesday, Sherman was fully in charge, breezing past Van 67-29 on the road.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Clay County, who are still winless after their fourth matchup. They fell to Richwood 42-36.
Sherman now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Clay County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
Sherman was able to grind out a solid victory over Clay County when the teams last played back in December of 2014, winning 61-51. Does Sherman have another victory up their sleeve, or will Clay County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
