Basketball Recap: Dalton Extends Winning Streak to 42

Dalton put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by the Grand Street Campus Wolves to the tune of 59-30. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked fourth, while the Wolves are ranked 119th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Dalton pushed their record up to 16-0 with the victory, which was their 24th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.1 points per game. As for Grand Street Campus, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dalton will host Maria Regina at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Grand Street Campus, they will take on South Shore at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. South Shore will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Grand Street Campus surely won't give up without a fight.
