Preview: Classical Academy Caimans vs. Army-Navy Warriors
Classical Academy has been on the road for three straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Army-Navy Warriors at 6:30 p.m. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
On Tuesday, Classical Academy came up short against Guajome Park Academy and fell 52-43.
Despite their defeat, Classical Academy saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Issac Davis, who scored 16 points, was perhaps the best of all. Davis scored a full 37.2% of Classical Academy's points, the 11th time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Jasper Kim, who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 69-42, which was the final score in Army-Navy's tilt against La Jolla on Saturday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Army-Navy has scored all season.
Classical Academy's defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-10. As for Army-Navy, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
