Volleyball Recap: Oconto's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Oconto waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Columbus Cardinals by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Blue Devils also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2018.

Leading Oconto to victory were Sam McDowell and Jaelin Kumhala. McDowell had 12 digs, while Kumhala had seven assists and six digs. That's the most digs Kumhala has posted since back in September.

Oconto's win bumped their record up to 21-7. As for Columbus, their loss dropped their record down to 8-14.

Oconto has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Sturgeon Bay on the 11th. As for Columbus, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Omro on the 11th.
