West Anchorage waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 51-50 W against the Service Cougars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 58-51 last Tuesday.

Despite the loss, Service still got an impressive performance from Aryanna Watson, who posted 26 points. The game was Watson's eighth in a row with at least 18 points. Karlierose Lealaisalanoa was another key player, putting up nine points.

West Anchorage now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Service, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Anchorage will take on Chugiak at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Service, they will head out on the road to square off against Eagle River at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
