Volleyball Recap: North Haven Nighthawks vs. Hamden Green Dragons
North Haven was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hamden Green Dragons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Green Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.
North Haven started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-15, 25-20, 25-19.
Grace Alfano paced North Haven's offense, picking up six kills. Alfano got some help from Guilianna Mesner and her ten assists. Finally, Bianca Watts kept North Haven's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.
