Soccer Recap: Pioneer Takes a Loss

Pioneer entered their match against McAllen Memorial on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Pioneer Diamondbacks fell just short of the McAllen Memorial Mustangs by a score of 3-2. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Diamondbacks couldn't quite close it out.

Pioneer's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for McAllen Memorial, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-3.

Coming up, Pioneer is taking a road trip to take on McAllen at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for McAllen Memorial, they will square off against Vela at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
