Recap: Hale County Wildcats vs. Aliceville Yellowjackets
The Hale County Wildcats put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 70-41 victory over Aliceville. Considering Hale County has won four matches by more than 28 points this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Despite the loss, Aliceville still got an impressive performance from Keanthony Wilder, who scored 10 points along with 7 rebounds.
Hale County's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.8 points per game. As for Aliceville, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Hale County will be playing at home against Marion at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Marion will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 213th, while Hale County is ranked 19th). As for Aliceville, they will head out on the road to face off against Holy Spirit Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
