Basketball Recap: Make It Eight in a Row for Burlington Township

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Burlington Township). They blew past the Pemberton Hornets 85-63 on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Falcons sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Burlington Township was led to victory by Quayd Hendryx and Baron Davis. Hendryx made all 6 shots he took from beyond the arc racking up 29 points along with five assists and three steals, while Davis dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. With that strong performance, Hendryx is now averaging an impressive 15.4 points per game. Krystian Vallejo Roberts also deserves some recognition as he scored his first point of the season.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Burlington Township was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Burlington Township pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.6 points per game. As for Pemberton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.

Burlington Township will head out on the road to face off against Pennsauken at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Pennsauken has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 193 points over their last three matches. Pemberton has already played their next contest (against Westampton Tech), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
