Richfield had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the five-goal drubbing they dealt Delta on Tuesday. The Wildcats' defense stepped up to hand the Rabbits a 5-0 shutout. Give Richfield's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Their offense was hitting Delta from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

Richfield has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five contests. As for Delta, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Richfield will challenge rival Canyon View at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Delta is set to square off against their familiar foe Juab at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
