Football Recap: Mena's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Mena was the 33-14 winner over Pottsville when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bearcats received a blow on Friday as they fell 25-6 to the Apaches. The loss was the Bearcats' first of the season.

Tripp Hensley threw for 186 yards on 19 of 31 attempts. Tycen Baber was his top target, picking up 50 receiving yards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Mena fell to 3-1. As for Pottsville, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Mena is set to challenge their familiar foe Lamar at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Pottsville will face off against rival Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
