Baseball Recap: Crater Takes a Loss

Crater lost against Fresno back in April of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Comets fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 3-2. The Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Crater's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Fresno, their victory bumped their record up to 11-7.

Looking ahead, Crater will challenge Washington Union at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so the Comets' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Fresno, they will take on Highland at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Warriors 3.8, the Scots 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
