After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sanger, Caddo Mills was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They breezed past the Gainesville Leopards to the tune of 48-7. With the Foxes ahead 27-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Caddo Mills' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Wyatt Watson led the charge by rushing for 186 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 9.3 yards per carry. Those 186 rushing yards gave Watson a new career-high. Kollin Heath was another key pass catcher, picking up 88 receiving yards and three scores.

Caddo Mills didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Luke Retta and Braeden Vann. Caddo Mills has already played their next game, a 40-10 win against Farmersville on the 17th. As for Gainesville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 41-13 defeat against Van Alstyne on the 17th.
