Volleyball Recap: Howards Grove Takes a Loss

Howards Grove's tournament run continued when they took on Union Grove on Saturday. The Tigers fell just short of the Broncos by a score of 2-1.

Despite the loss, Howards Grove still got an impressive performance from Brienna Bramstedt, who had 12 digs and two aces. Bramstedt is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Howards Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Union Grove, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, Howards Grove is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Sheboygan Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Union Grove, they have already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Elkhorn on the 2nd.
