Basketball Recap: Vicksburg Takes a Loss

If Vicksburg was feeling good fresh off their 56-32 takedown of Callaway last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vicksburg Gators had to suffer through a 67-40 loss at the hands of the Callaway Chargers. The Gators were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Chargers earlier this season, when they won 56-32.

Vicksburg has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-15 record this season. As for Callaway, their win bumped their record up to 11-17.

Vicksburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Callaway, they will take on Columbus at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Columbus knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten matches -- so hopefully Callaway likes a good challenge.
