Softball Recap: Patton Wins Going Away Against East Burke

Patton won the last time they faced East Burke and things went their way on Friday too. The Panthers put the hurt on the Cavaliers with a sharp 7-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Patton got a big performance out of Jolann Buff, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs. That's the most hits Buff has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Kara Redwine, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI and one double.

Patton's victory bumped their record up to 6-13. As for East Burke, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season.

Patton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 6-2 win against Draughn on the 25th. As for East Burke, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-0 loss against Freedom on the 25th.
