Basketball Recap: Shawnee Takes a Loss

Shawnee's last matchup with Central could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Wednesday. The Shawnee Golden Eagles were dealt a 66-24 defeat at the hands of the Central Yellow Jackets. The Golden Eagles have struggled against the Yellow Jackets recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Shawnee's loss dropped their record down to 7-22. As for Central, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-6.

Shawnee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 57-47 defeat against DuPont Manual on the 27th.
