Volleyball Recap: Junction City Bluejays vs. Hays Indians
Junction City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Hays Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.
While Junction City ultimately came up short, they really made Hays work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 27-25.
Junction City's defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Hays, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season.
Junction City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hays, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Topeka on the 16th.
