Soccer Game Preview: Monroe vs. Grant

The Monroe Vikings will venture away from home to challenge the Grant Lancers at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Monroe's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Wednesday, Monroe didn't have quite enough to beat Poly and fell 4-3. The Vikings have struggled against the Parrots recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Grant fell victim to Chavez and their airtight defense on Monday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Monroe's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10-3. As for Grant, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
