The Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet Royals will head out on the road to  square off against  the St. Cecilia Academy Scarabs  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.9  runs per game  this season.
The home team had come away the winner the last four times Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet and Whites Creek had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Royals were the clear victors by  a  27-2 margin over the Cobras on Wednesday. The Royals haven't had any issues with the Cobras recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive  victory against them.
 Danielle Tusie made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out six batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Those  six  strikeouts gave  her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances with five  stolen bases, three  runs,  and three  RBI.

 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Lily Sullivan, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and four  RBI. Those  four  RBI gave  her a new career-high.  Marlee Martin was another key player,  going 1-for-4 with three  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  RBI.
 Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .467. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .300 or higher in six consecutive  games.
 Meanwhile,  St. Cecilia Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their  four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against  Christian Community, falling  17-10. Even if the Scarabs couldn't come away with the  win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.
 Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet's record now sits at 10-7. As for St. Cecilia Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.
 Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet took their  victory against St. Cecilia Academy  in their previous matchup  two weeks ago by a conclusive  20-5 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Royals since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
