Softball Recap: Moore Haven's Winning Streak Snapped at Five Games

After a string of five wins, Moore Haven's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sebring Blue Streaks. If the Terriers were looking for revenge after losing 12-0 to the Blue Streaks when the teams met back in March of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Moore Haven saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was JoEllen Erskin, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Moore Haven's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Sebring, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

Looking ahead, Moore Haven will square off against Immokalee at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th. As for Sebring, they will face off against Avon Park at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Sebring is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.
