Volleyball Recap: Concord's Win Ends 15-Game Losing Streak on the Road + How To Watch

Concord hadn't beaten Northwest Cabarrus on the road since September 7, 2021 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Spiders came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 3-1. This was payback for the Spiders, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Concord got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 30-28, 25-23, 25-23.

Isabell Bishop paced Concord's offense, picking up ten kills. Bishop got some help from Adeline Fulton and her 30 assists. Fulton was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Concord's victory ended a 15-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-3. As for Northwest Cabarrus, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
