Plainfield North posted their closest victory since March 28th on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Plainfield Central Wildcats 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won six in a row.

Plainfield North's offense was headlined by Cole Svara and Easton Isaacson, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Joey cavlovic and his 28 assists. Sean Jansen controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Plainfield North's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Plainfield Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Plainfield North didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Joliet West on the 15th. As for Plainfield Central, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against South Elgin on the 12th.
