Softball Recap: Southeast Halifax Takes a Loss

Southeast Halifax was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 20-5 to the Northwest Halifax Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 25-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Kacee' Smith made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases. Smith is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least two every time she's taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of A'Dariah Williams, who scored a run and stole a base.

Southeast Halifax now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Northwest Halifax, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

While Southeast Halifax had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
