Volleyball Recap: Sacramento Waldorf Comes Up Short

Sacramento Waldorf was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Encina Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-11, 25-17.

Sacramento Waldorf's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Encina, their win bumped their record up to 15-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sacramento Waldorf will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Foresthill at 5:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Encina, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Ben Holt College Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. The Bobcats will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
