Baseball Recap: Cochranton Wins Going Away Against Jamestown

Cochranton was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Jamestown on Thursday. The Cardinals put the hurt on the Muskies with a sharp 17-4 win. That looming 17-4 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Cardinals yet this season.

The team relied heavily on Bradyen Burnette, who went 4-for-5 with four runs, two stolen bases, and four RBI. Cochranton is 4-2 when Burnette posts two or more stolen bases, but 1-6 otherwise. Coleton Mattocks was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with five stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.
