Recap: Freeman Scotties vs. Lakeside Eagles

The Freeman Scotties had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They really took it to Lakeside for the full four quarters, racking up a 69-31 win at home. That 69-31 margin sets a new team best for Freeman this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Freeman to victory, but perhaps none more so than Micah Hodges, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Grant, who scored 15 points.

Freeman's win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.4 points per game. As for Lakeside, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.

Freeman's homestand continues as they prepare to take on West Valley at 7:15 p.m. on December 14th. One thing working in West Valley's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. Lakeside is on the road again on Friday and play against Riverside at 5:45 p.m. on December 15th.
