Malachi Perry leads a balanced attack to beat Agawam

The Pittsfield Generals entered their tilt with the Agawam Brownies with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Pittsfield walked away with a 74-65 win over the Brownies on Tuesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

Pittsfield's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Malachi Perry, who scored 26 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Perry has scored all season. Da'Sean Brown was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.

Pittsfield is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Agawam, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-5.

Pittsfield will head out on the road to challenge the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Agawam, they will be playing at home against the Thunder at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Taconic is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
