Five must be Whitnall's lucky number: they beat Brookfield Central with that score not once but twice on Saturday. The Falcons beat the Lancers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 5-4. Winning may never get old, but the Falcons sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Whitnall's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1-1. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Brookfield Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Whitnall will square off against South Milwaukee at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rockets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed seven runs per game on average), something the Falcons will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Brookfield Central, they will head out on the road to challenge Marquette University at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hilltoppers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Lancers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
