Basketball Game Preview: Coopersville Broncos vs. Lowell Red Arrows

The Coopersville Broncos will head out on the road to take on the Lowell Red Arrows at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Coopersville is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Coopersville lost to Cedar Springs on the road by a 49-35 margin. That's two games in a row now that the Broncos have lost by exactly 14 points.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Lowell, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They strolled past Greenville with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 50-36. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Red Arrows' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 244th, while the Yellow Jackets are ranked 108th).

Coopersville's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Lowell, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-10 record this season.

Things could have been worse for Coopersville, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 48-34 loss to Lowell in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Can Coopersville avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
