Baseball Recap: Winters Extends Winning Streak to Three

Winters hadn't done well against Colusa recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Warriors skirted past the RedHawks 6-5. The win was nothing new for the Warriors as they're now sitting on three straight.

Everett Beason was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Lane Brown, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Winters' victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Colusa, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-14.

Winters will have a chance to go back-to-back against the RedHawks: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
