Kolbe-Cathedral won the last time they faced Bunnell, and Angel Gomez did his part to make sure it happened again. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bulldogs on Monday for which the team can thank Gomez, who had 22 digs. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last 34 games he's played dating back to last season.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Kolbe-Cathedral was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-10, 25-12.

Kolbe-Cathedral is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-10 record this season. As for Bunnell, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.
