Basketball Recap: Glenns Ferry Wins Going Away Against Shoshone

Glenns Ferry's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Shoshone Indians with a sharp 37-14 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 42-34 back in December of 2024.

Maddie Spriggs was the offensive standout of the contest as she posted 14 points and five steals. Another player making a difference was Zeidy Reynaga, who had nine points.

Glenns Ferry smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in six consecutive matchups.

Glenns Ferry pushed their record up to 9-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Shoshone, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Glenns Ferry will head out to square off against Oakley at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Oakley will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something Glenns Ferry surely won't give up without a fight. As for Shoshone, they will face off against Hagerman at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
