The Covington Trojans will head out on the road to square off against the Seeger Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Covington is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 32.8 points per game this season.

On Friday, Covington came up short against Parke Heritage and fell 28-15.

Covington's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Sully Stadler, who rushed for 100 yards and one score, and Connor Maertens, who picked up 31 receiving yards and one TD.

Meanwhile, Seeger didn't have too much trouble with Fountain Central on Friday as they won 31-14. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

Covington's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Seeger, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Everything came up roses for Covington against Seeger when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 41-14 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
