Desert Hills put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Pine View Panthers a 13-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Thunder, who have now won eight matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Desert Hills got a great performance from Andrew Wiley as he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Haigen Reed, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024. Conner Weese also deserves some recognition as he launched his first home run of the season.

Desert Hills always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .543 or higher in four consecutive contests.

Desert Hills' record is now 14-0. As for Pine View, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-4-1.
