Football Recap: Duncanville Beats Rockwall-Heath for Their Eighth Straight Win

It's playoff time, and Duncanville had no trouble coming through when it counted. They really took it to the Rockwall-Heath Hawks for the full four quarters, racking up a 43-6 victory. Considering the Panthers and Pantherettes have won eight games by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Trenton Yancey was a one-man wrecking crew as he picked up 108 receiving yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 79 yards and two touchdowns. That's the most receiving yards he has posted since back in September. Duncanville also got a significant boost from Ayson Theus, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 129 yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Duncanville was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 373 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

The win (which was Duncanville's eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.3 points over those games. As for Rockwall-Heath, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4.

As of now, neither Duncanville nor the Hawks have any future games scheduled.
