Basketball Recap: Southern Christian Comes Up Short

Southern Christian lost against LaGrange Academy back in January of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Patriots were outmatched by LaGrange Academy and fell 84-40.

Several Patriots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jedd Scott, who posted 11 points. Scott has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last eight times he's played. Another player making a difference was Gabriel Decker, who had 13 points and three steals.

Southern Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for LaGrange Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Coming up, Southern Christian will be playing at home against The Rock Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for LaGrange Academy, they will take on Rock Springs Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
