Basketball Recap: Dover Now 6-1 over Last Seven Games

Dover won the last time they faced Pond Creek-Hunter and things went their way on Saturday too. The Dover Longhorns walked away with a 42-29 win over the Pond Creek-Hunter Panthers. Given the Longhorns' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 178th, while the Panthers are ranked 358th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Dover has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Pond Creek-Hunter, their loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dover will take on Okeene at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pond Creek-Hunter has already played their next contest (against Garber), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
