Softball Recap: Cloverdale Takes a Loss

Cloverdale made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Northview, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Clovers fell just short of the Knights by a score of 4-2 on Thursday. The Clovers have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Sydney Bernard made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That double marked the first that she has hit this season.

Cloverdale's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Northview, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Cloverdale wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 5-2 defeat against Shakamak on the 25th. As for Northview, they have also already played their next game, a 4-0 loss against Plainfield on the 28th.
