Shamrock Gets a Boost from Cook in 54-28 Victory

Starting off the list is Shamrock's Philip Cook, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Cook rushed for 126 yards and four touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also threw for 181 yards and a touchdown. His longest rush was for an impressive 58 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Unfortunately for Memphis, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Cook. Back in November of 2023 (the last time Cook saw the Cyclones), he threw for 266 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 13.3 yards per attempt.
