Basketball Recap: East New York Family Academy Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

East New York Family Academy won the last time they faced Lincoln, and Arianna Mercado did her part to make sure it happened again. East New York Family Academy blew past the Lincoln Railsplitters 69-13 on Monday thanks in part to Mercado, who dropped a double-double on 37 points and 15 steals. The contest was her third in a row with at least ten points.

Amariah Clyne was another key player, putting up five points along with five rebounds and four steals. That's the most steals she has posted since back in December of 2023.

East New York Family Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Lincoln, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing New Utrecht the next time they take the court. East New York Family Academy will head out to face New Utrecht at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Lincoln will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
