Baseball Recap: Howard Tech Takes a Loss

Howard Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Nashville Magnet Eagles. The Hustlin' Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

Howard Tech saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sean Besley, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Howard Tech's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for East Nashville Magnet, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Eagles beat Howard Tech by a score of 21-0 later that day.
